Countdown to the weekend is on!

For those of us in California, it's been quite a change this week now that our state has moved into the Orange Tier of health and safety guidances for business.

To sleep under trees and wake with the sun

I remember sleeping under trees

The stars bright blue

Exploding rainbows infinitely vast and far away

I remember fire and smoke

Hypnotizing

Putting the children to sleep without effort

And the adults, a mead or two in

Letting them drift off

Happy to come back to the ring

Talking

Remembering

Rejoicing

This is the only now we have

We make it with each other

And the trees
